First Coast Companions provides non-medical companion and concierge services that help Jacksonville seniors stay independent while giving families confidence, connection, and peace of mind. Whether your loved one needs biweekly support with errands and companionship or weekly visits with appointment transportation, our membership plans are designed to make life easier, safer, and more connected.
Membership Plans
First Coast Essentials — $300/month
Biweekly companionship and everyday support
A great fit for seniors who need occasional help, meaningful companionship, and support with daily tasks.
Includes:
- 2 visits per month - Visits typically last 2–3 hours - Companion visits and friendly conversation - Wellness check-ins - Medication reminders - Errand running - Grocery runs - Prescription pickup - Wellness walks - Light stretching - Light tidying and organizing - Family update after each visit
Add-On Appointment Transportation:
Appointment transportation is not included in the Essentials plan, but may be added as needed for $75 per appointment.
Additional Time:
If a visit or appointment lasts longer than 3 hours: $30/hour after the first 3 hours.
First Coast Plus — $500/month
Weekly support with appointment transportation included
Best for families who want consistent weekly support, regular check-ins, and help getting loved ones to and from appointments.
Includes:
- 4 visits per month - Visits typically last 2–3 hours - Everything included in First Coast Essentials - Transportation to and from doctor appointments - Errands, grocery runs, and prescription pickup - Companion visits and wellness check-ins - Light tidying and organizing - Family update after each visit or appointment
Important Note:
Doctor appointment transportation counts as one of the 4 included monthly visits. This plan does not include 4 regular visits plus 4 separate appointment trips.
Examples:
- 3 companion/errand visits + 1 appointment visit = 4 total monthly visits - 2 companion/errand visits + 2 appointment visits = 4 total monthly visits - 4 appointment visits = 4 total monthly visits
Additional Visits or Appointments:
Additional visits or appointments beyond the 4 included monthly visits: $75 each
Additional Time:

Add-On Services
Appointment Transportation — $75 per appointment
Available for Essentials members or for additional appointments beyond the Plus plan. Includes local transportation to and from doctor appointments, appointment support, and a family update afterward.
Additional Visit — $75 per visit
Available when families need extra support beyond their monthly membership plan.
Additional Time — $30/hour
Applies when a visit, errand, or appointment extends beyond the included 3-hour visit window.

Annual Payment Discount:
Families who choose to pay annually instead of monthly receive a 20% discount.
First Coast Essentials Annual Plan:
Regular monthly rate: $300/month Regular annual total: $3,600/year Annual payment with 20% discount: $2,880/year Savings: $720/year
First Coast Plus Annual Plan:
Regular monthly rate: $500/month Regular annual total: $6,000/year Annual payment with 20% discount: $4,800/year Savings: $1,200/year
Referral Reward:
When you refer a new family who signs up for a membership plan, you’ll receive 50% off one month as our thank-you. Referral discount applies after the referred family completes their first paid month of service.
Important Service Notes
First Coast Companions provides non-medical companion and concierge services.
Our services do not include:
- Medical care - Medication administration - Bathing, toileting, or hands-on personal care - Emergency medical support
Clients are responsible for the cost of groceries, prescriptions, supplies, parking, tolls, and other third-party expenses.
Discounts and referral rewards may not be combined unless approved by First Coast Companions.
Appointment Coordination
We schedule, confirm and help them get where they need to be.
Support with scheduling, reminders, transportation coordination, and family communication.
Errands & Personal Assistance
Grocery shopping, prescription pickup and other daily needs.
Help with grocery shopping, prescription pickup, returns, post office visits, and other everyday errands.
Technology Help
Patient, easy-to-understand help with phones, tablets, computers and more.
